JP and Lily spent years in each other’s circles before their love story started. They spent years in classes together and pursuing the same passions. Unaware that they would ever be something more than classmates. It took all the way until senior year for JP to ask Lily out. And since then, they’ve been inseparable. It was the beginning of something good and they’ve held on to it with everything they have. Even through significant time a part doing the long distance thing. Their relationship was worth fighting for and I’m sure it makes the fact that they’re together now even sweeter. It’s no wonder that when JP proposed in the middle of a well planned kayak adventure that Lily said yes! They even say that the sun came out cinematically right after it was official!
And that’s honestly not hard to believe once you meet JP and Lily and see them interact. They bring out the sun in each other. They’re two genuine people who love living side by side. And it’s just impossible not to notice their sweetness. The way that JP wraps his arms around Lily to keep her warm. The way that Lily smiles her biggest smile when JP slips his hand in hers. And then there’s the way that they just invite you into their warmth.
David and I SO enjoyed our time with these two. The first time we met back in the Fall, we couldn’t stop talking! And this time was just the same. We had to take breaks from chatting to shoot some portraits! JP and Lily have us counting down to their August wedding at Sinkland Farms! We just can’t wait!
