Greg and Grace. Great friends. Lab partners. And now they’re getting MARRIED! They’d been friends for years. Growing up into loving Jesus more and knowing themselves more in the same community and the timing wasn’t right until their senior year. And some would argue that even then the timing wasn’t “right”…especially as Greg pulled out his calendar last summer because they had two weeks to make this dating thing happen before he moved to Texas. But that’s getting ahead of the story. Greg and Grace got to spend more and more time together as graduation neared. Simple texts to make sure the other was coming to a group hang out became their norm. And if Grace was going, you’d be sure to find Greg. And vice versa. Their friendship continued to deepen as summer started and then they needed to make a decision. Would they pursue this relationship in spite of the fact that in just a few weeks, long distance would be all that they knew. And the answer was undoubtedly yes. It’s only been a year since then, but it feels so much longer! These two are simply meant to be together and it feels like they’ve always been that way.
Greg and Grace are just universally loved. You come away from a conversation with either of them and you’ll feel known and cared for. They both love Jesus so much and are unashamed about their love for Him. You see it in the way they care for people and definitely in the way they care for each other. Grace will be the first to admit that it’s not easy, but she’ll also be the first to admit that she would’ve married Greg last summer in a heartbeat :]
I think I might’ve screamed when Grace told me that her and Greg were dating. I can’t imagine two sweeter people! I’ve gotten to see them grow since they came in as freshmen and legitimately would always wonder who they’d end up with. Grace is so kind and hilarious and so intentional with her love and I just love her heart. And Greg is such a tender hearted man and he so loves his Grace. I couldn’t be more excited for them to end their adventure in long distance and begin life as a married couple! We aren’t able to be at their wedding because we’re shooting another one that day, so I was so thrilled when Greg said he wanted to surprise Grace with an engagement session. Hope you enjoy their engagement session at Bissett Park in Radford!
They both make each other laugh a ton and I love it.
Love their joy.
The light was SO good!
Definite favorite.
They ventured out into the water and I love them for it!
This is their first kiss spot :]
