I will forever be in love with college love stories. There’s something super special about meeting your person in college and just deciding to continue to do life together. There’s the sweetness of holding hands as you walk the campus, the memories of nights spent up late studying together, and middle of the day lunch dates in the dining halls. You get to exist outside of reality for a little bit together. When else in life do you get to meet up throughout the day in between classes and spend weeknights together like they’re your weekend? And so is the case for Andrew and Cindy. They met in college at Virginia Tech and just never looked back! And now they’re getting married! Andrew and Cindy will be wed at the beautiful Irvine Estate because nothing but the top of a mountain would do for these two adventurers. In fact, Andrew even proposed at the top of a mountain! (in the snow no less!)
David and I got to spend sunrise with these two sweethearts and it was so lovely. There’s an ease to their presence. You can tell that after four or so years together, Andrew and Cindy are just comfortable with each other. Andrew’s got a special smile that’s reserved for the exact moment that Cindy meets his eyes. Cindy shines in his presence and is brighter in Andrew’s arms. And did I mention, these two were absolutely gorgeous together…even though we met at 6:30 in the morning?! So yes, safe to say it was a lovely morning: soft light, sweet couple, college campus? Count me in every time.
Andrew and Cindy, we are so thankful to have finally met you in person and are counting down until we get to hang out with you on your wedding day!
