Justin and Hollyn have a whirlwind of a story. After a chance meeting online, they navigated through plans to meet in person. And when they did meet? Hollyn’s friend casually invited Justin to their church the next morning…the church where Hollyn happened to be leading worship! She was mortified and so, so nervous. But Justin was sure and steady. He wasn’t going to miss this! One morning sitting in the pews and watching Hollyn sing her heart out for Jesus and then he was confident. This girl was something special and he wanted to know more and more. And it just clicked. There wasn’t anyone else that they wanted to share life with. Not too long after that and Justin was setting up a surprise proposal and Hollyn was excitedly saying yes! And come January, they’ll be husband and wife!
These two are so sweet together. They both shared that the thing they loved most about each other is the way that the other loves Jesus. Their life is shaped by Him and they’re overjoyed to get to pursue that together. It was super special to see the way they’re looking forward to getting to share their lives with each other. You can tell that Justin and Hollyn are best friends and are more of themselves by each other’s side. They’re a perfect fit. They’re both intentional and gracious and joyful and that’s only magnified when they’re together. They spent the evening with us laughing and reminiscing and just reveling in the fact that they got to spend more time in each other’s arms.
We met at their home that they’re counting down towards living in together with their sweet puppies. Soon there will be no more goodbyes and no more good nights because they’ll be each other’s every day! I so remember what that wait feels like and we can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day in January!
