This is going to be the shortest feels ever! But I couldn’t let a week go without sharing some previews of what we’ve been up to! In a span of five days, we will have done 3 engagement sessions and a wedding! Well I guess the last one is technically tonight and that’s why I’m keeping it short :] I’m about to head out the door to drive to Charlottesville to round up a busy weekend/beginning of the week!

The only update I’ve got from the last week besides more unpacking and lots of sweet couples is that I spoke at Cru again! I spent a good portion of the week prepping and it was hard, but good to focus in on something and do the work. The hardest part about speaking for me, is preparing all the content and bearing the burden of wanting to do a good job communicating….so needless to say, I felt a big weight lifted once that was over :] I spoke on broken relationships, why friendship is difficult, and how God can come in and heal those places for us. If you guys are interested, I could always post a summary :] The other bits were spent capturing couples from all different places! It’s super fun to get to work with people we’ve known for years, old connections from high school, and people we’ve never met before!

Now for feels!

• We took Ollie to Chuck E Cheese on Friday morning and it was the best! Well, kind of. He wasn’t totally sure what to do with all the excitement, but he eventually got on board with staring at the animatronic Chuck E and scanning the play pass…to be honest scanning that card was his favorite game of all.
• We shot a wedding this weekend for one of my high school friends and it’s always so crazy to see people you haven’t seen in almost a decade! Here’s to more Chantilly High School connections :]
• The bear doesn’t come with us to engagement session very often anymore…but if it’s in town and for some of our old college students, then it’s game on! He loved jumped in the leaves with Adam and Lexi yesterday afternoon!
• I know this feels lame-o…but we finally bought a real adult vacuum and it makes me so happy to vacuum now. Is that weird? Does that mean I’m old now? ;]

Alright, time for a big road trip and listening to the new Taylor Swift album on repeat! So much good coming to the blog in the next few weeks!
