Allison prepared for her wedding day in the home she grew up in. Family members were bustling around and making sure every detail had been handled. Allison was counting the minutes until it was time to get ready. Everyone seemed like they were just anxious to get this show on the road! Her and her girls rushed out the door excitedly to get to the first look, driving the same roads she’d learned to drive on, in the same area she’d spent so much of her life. There was something really sweet about seeing the ordinary and routine of Chantilly, Virginia turn into something magical on her wedding day. Will was excited as ever, was eager to see his soon to be wife and they had the sweetest exchange when they met amidst the crunchy orange leaves in the golden sunlight. It was chilly, so they wrapped up in each other and cuddled close. There was so much peace after the first look. Will and Allison are just lighter by each other’s sides and the first look meant that they could spend almost the whole day together, so it was the perfect choice!

For their ceremony they were surrounded by family and friends from all over! Everyone they love most and everyone who’d made them who they are now were in one room, including their sweet little Corgi Starbuck! After Starbuck jaunted down the aisle, Alison and her dad walked arm in arm. Her dad very sweetly trying to hold back emotion and Allison absolutely beaming at Will! Soon after they were married and it was time to celebrate! Throughout the evening, so many people spoke about how happy Will and Allison make each other. You could see it in the way they danced together and shared glances during toasts. They’re better together. Their cake topper said it all, “I love you and I like you.” It was perfectly fitting for two best friends who are so in love.

I actually went to high school and swam with Allison and it was so incredible to see who she’s become! Will is so kind and wonderful to her and she just loves being with him. It was such a privilege to be the ones capturing their day. Hope you enjoy a look into their best day ever!
