Depth of feels, coming to you live from our road trip back from our SEVENTH engagement session of the month! EEK! I have so, so much to share and now you know why you’ve seen so many esessions on the blog lately! (and why you’ve seen a little less of me ;]) ((and why I’m scattering previews throughout this post!))

We just spent a whole week away from our little home after making the rounds to see our families for thanksgiving! And let me tell you, it was harder than ever to leave after all the work we’ve done on our new home. And by work, I basically just mean unpacking boxes and moving furniture. Nothing serious. But it certainly feels serious! This week, we’re certainly looking forward to spending some good quality time getting pictures on the walls and maybe getting piles of clothes off of the floor in our room!

Like I mentioned, we spent the first half of the week seeing my family in Northern VA and the second half seeing David’s down in Norfolk. We got to enjoy LOTS of holiday food and maybe even still some leftover pumpkin pie :] We jammed in some time with friends and a trip to the zoo and some sessions while we were gone. We’ve worn out all of our podcasts and even Hamilton listens after all that car time! It’s good to be home…errr almost home as I’m typing :]

Here’s to some feels:

• Oliver’s vocabulary has EXPLODED in the last week! He’s saying so many things and we’re actually starting to understand him! My definite favorite is the way he says “bubbles.” Aka “bubb-balls.”
• We got together with our best childhood friends over the holiday and our time may or may not have involved two of us getting in our wedding dresses and having an iphone photo shoot while drinking beer… :]
• Pumpkin pie is the best pie. Preferably with cool whip. We had to bring half a pie home with us because no one ate it and I’m not even mad about it.
• I’ve been SO inspired and struck by my couple’s creativity in these last several engagement shoots! From the outfits they pick to the locations they choose, I’ve had so much fun capturing lots of different relationships!
• We’ve taken Ollie to Chuck-E-Cheese twice in the last two weeks…and it’s real cute. He’s not great at getting tickets though and that’s been tough for my ego…
