It’s been a minute since my last depth of feels, hasn’t it? I feel like I get the joy of talking to you all on instagram and instastories so often that you guys get WAY more feels when you used to :] But here I am anyways, resurrecting the feels! Feel free to let me know in the comments in you’d rather get your feels via blog or instagram, will ya? :]

We’ve entered the slow season over here! I just shot my last session for six whole weeks! Don’t get me wrong, friends, I LOVE photographing people! But there is no denying that rest is good for my soul and for my creativity. I’m so looking forward to this next month and a half of revamping things on the back end AND learning more about my craft via education. And for spending a little more time snuggling my boys :] The last two weeks held TWO weddings and one engagement session and I hit publish on my behind the scenes 2017 post and my favorites of 2017! So it’s been a busy blog month with LOTS of pretty and if you wanna catch up just start scrolling!

We’re also only a couple weeks away from having a TWO year old. Ollie’s keeping us even more busy than usual. He’s full on toddler! And we’re long overdue for an Ollie update! So expect that soon as well :]

Now for some long absent feels :]

• Just like everyone else in the world, we’re addicted to “This is Us.” And our reactions to each episode are totally different. When the credits roll, without fail, I wipe tears from my eyes and cheeks and David just goes “woah. the acting is so good.” And that, my friends, is the difference between a thinker and a feeler.
• Also, not prepared for the next episode. And never will be. #crockpotproblems
•  Ollie’s favorite things right now are Elmo (aka mo-mo) and the Minions (aka “na-nas” because they always say BA-NA-NA). So of course, he’s been finding those respective pajamas and wearing them over his normal clothes.
• We spent a good portion of our holiday break working on our house and the amount of adult we’re at is summed up in this: “excited about curtains”
• On Mondays, I typically feel like Michael Scott banging on his mug and wanting to avoid a to-do list.
• Ben Platt wins again. We’re just the most avid fans of him and Lin Manuel Miranda that we refer to them by their first names in our house. Lin and Ben are topics of conversation THAT often for us.
