There’d been a countdown for months. A wedding to do list that had slowly and surely shrunk to zero. And a lot of waiting. Pretty much ever since Adam got on one knee in that coffee shop. Waiting and counting down. And then finally, it was here! Lexi transformed into a bride as the morning progressed. Soon enough, it was the final details of her hair and the getting in her dress with her mom and the tearful excited smiles of her bridesmaids. And then, it was time to meet Adam, and there was no way to be ready for what would come next.
Adam and Lexi stood back to back in the same field that would soon hold all of their loved ones. Adam with his eyes shut tight, verbally processing everything he could hear and smiling and laughing when he noticed Lexi was close. They took turns reading letters and Adam alternated between crying and laughing from the very first word. Lexi smiled confidently and wiped tears from her eyes as he broke down behind her. Adam turned around to see his bride, absolutely beaming, and they immediately held onto each other. They were getting married!
From the ceremony to the toasts to the energy in the barn, the evening was a reflection of how well Adam and Lexi love and how well they’ve been loved. By their friends, by their families, by the Lord. They’ve both been transformed by Jesus and just want to share that with everyone they know. Every bit of the day was fun and full of laughter and great relationships. They walked off into the sparkler filled night with the biggest smiles ever. After all this time, finally permanently by each other’s sides.
Friends, we had so much fun with Adam and Lexi! We’ve known Adam for close to five years now and Lexi for close to two and what a joy it was to see them on their best day. The day flew by because we were just having a blast! And we laughed constantly. For real, I cannot stress enough how much I was laughing! It was the most fun group of people, all under one roof! Hope you enjoy their day!
