Abby’s maid of honor joked about the brevity of her relationship with Steven. And yes, it all happened fast, but goodness did it feel like they’d been waiting forever for their wedding day. Steven was just ready, ready, ready all day. He was game for anything that moved the day forward, anything that got him closer to seeing Abby. She was surrounded by her best friends and laughing and joking, content but still counting down until the ceremony. Her besties gasped when she stepped into her dress, her grandma fastened the 100 year old family necklace around her neck, and she was ready.

The ceremony was light and sweet, just like the two of them. It passed quickly and before they knew it, they were headed back down the aisle as husband and wife! The joy of Jesus was in the reception space. Their guests couldn’t stop chatting and it felt like a room full of family! The most Steven and Abby aka “stabby” touches were included, from the ice cream bar to the sprinkles that tumbled out of the cake when they cut into it. They were best friends who were finally married so everything and their joy was contagious. They exited through the sparkler smoke and faded into the night, their friends and family still laughing and chatting about what a wonderful day it had been.
We LOVED this wedding day. Literally felt like it went by in the blink of an eye because it was so. much. fun. We’ve known Steven for a DECADE now and it was a joy to see him become a married man. Abby is his perfect counterpart. Together, they have more fun and more adventure and get to be more of themselves than ever before. What a privilege to get to capture their day. We love you guys!
