Sean and Sarah met when they were college freshman. Sarah was in a towel :] After a quick shower, she popped her head in her friend’s room at JMU and there Sean was. Sean wanted to get Q’doba for lunch and Sarah invited herself along with the group and insisted on Chipotle instead! Sean always saw something in her. And Sarah took a little longer to warm up. They were best friends, but she just wasn’t interested in him in that same way. She knew she treasured him, but Sean had to sneak his way into Sarah’s world. He was patient, ever the romantic. And when it was finally clear to her, it was a perfect fit! Six years later, Sean proposed in San Diego! He had the ring shipped out to meet them (anxiously checking the delivery time the whole way!) and then he asked Sarah to marry him as she watched the sun set over the ocean for the first time in her life.
These two are something special. The type of people that you just want to get more and more time with! They’ve been doing long distance (like states a part!) for years now, so they truly cherish their time together. When you only get to see each other every couple months, you have to! I kid you not, it was down pouring during most of their engagement session and they were still giggling and cracking jokes and having a blast the entire time! Sarah is so giddy and excited and Sean is her dry humor counterpart. But both of them come across with the warmest and most kind hearts. I just couldn’t get enough of them!
Sean and Sarah, we did it! We ran around Columbia in the pouring rain and I know it’ll be an evening that none of us forget! Thanks for loving us as we rolled out of an eight hour road trip, with Ollie in tow, and for dancing in the rain for me! We can’t wait for your
Shadow Creek wedding next month!
They’re just so fun!
A little bit of salsa in the rain :]
Look at all that rain! It made for some epic portraits!
Just the cutest!
Love!
Definite favorite! They’re so sweet!
Our epic rain shot :]
