It was September 1st and it was finally, finally time for Chad and Katie to get married. They’d been together eight years after all! Through all of the transitions and college classes and life starting, they’d stayed side by side. And now, it was finally time to make it official. Katie was beaming in the bridal suite. She’s got one of those contagious smiles, so naturally, everyone else was bustling around smiling ear to ear as well. Their first look was pure, absolute joy. Just two best friends smiling like crazy and catching up on the beginning of their day that they’d spent a part. There was so much excitement, but it was also so peaceful. Because, of course, they were getting married! The skies turned dark in the hour before the ceremony and the wind picked up. It sprinkled here and there, but it never full out rained so that Katie could have the outdoor ceremony she’d been dreaming of. They walked back down the aisle even more joyful than they were before – stopping for a big dramatic dip for all of their guests!
The evening was just the most fun party. Chad and Katie had gone to great lengths to make sure the evening was wonderful from start to finish. The barn was draped with florals and the crowd was lively and laughing from the moment Chad and Katie entered the room! Chad and Katie are just the sweetest people! You could tell everyone there wanted a chance to dance with them, to hug them, to just be in their presence for a little while. The toasts mentioned how much everyone knew how perfect they were together. They make each other so happy and it’s easy to see when you’re around them. They’re both surrounded by incredible groups of friends and supportive family and the evening was a testament to just how loved they are! And goodness gracious, the dance floor was moving! It was packed all night with their loved ones and of course, Chad stole the show with his dance moves! They walked off into a sparkler filled night, their guests still laughing and enjoying the perfect evening they’d planned for them.
Chad and Katie, we just love you guys! Between the fact that you’re Harry Potter fans, that you’re unashamedly excited about each other, and that you got married at Sinkland Farms? You are just a dream couple! Thank you times a million for including us in your day! We’re so thankful we were there!
