The forecast called for all day long thunderstorms…and yet, we only saw 5 minutes of rain. It was like it could only ever be sunny on the day that Porter and Kaylynn became each other’s homes. Kaylynn was surrounded by supportive women in the bridal suite and she seemed to be nothing but relaxed. She adjusted her flower girls hair and passed out heart shaped sunglasses to her ladies with the biggest smile on her face. Porter, on the other hand, didn’t visibly relax until the moment he turned around to see Kaylynn during the first look. They both lit up, sharing beaming smiles and bright eyes right up until the ceremony. Their nuptials were officiated by Porters 92 year old grandfather, Guppy and it was the most heartfelt officiating we’ve ever seen. A loving grandfather ushering his grandson into marriage with lots of “this is beautiful” and affirmations to see that they indeed “do.”
From then on, Porter and Kaylynn were the life of the party. They stopped to hug every single guest, posed for pictures in the photo booth, and tore up the dance floor. Including their surprise choreographed routine to a country song smack dab in the middle of their romantic first dance. And did I mention the moment that Porter literally flipped Kaylynn over his head on the dance floor?! Everyone wanted to be around these two! It’s clear that they are genuine, kind, and fun in a way that invites others in and makes them feel 100% themselves. They’re travelers and adventurers, but so, so loved and treasured in the places they call “home.”
Porter and Kaylynn, we had the best day with you two. Thanks for making us a part of your celebration! We’ll always remember your sweet day with the biggest smiles on our faces!
