Jack and Emily got the first perfect Autumn day of the year at Fleetwood Farms Winery. There was a slight chill in the air, a breeze gently pushing leaves off their branches, and just enough sun to keep them warm. Emily and her friends and family relaxed in the bridal suite, joking and laughing and counting down to ceremony time. Emily was the most calm bride, from the outside you wouldn’t have thought it was anything but a really good day! Until she put the dress on, of course! Everyone in the room gasped when her momma zipped the dress up, tears glistening in the corners of eyes. This was it! After all this time, she was marrying Jack Fox. Jack got ready only several yards away, the two avoiding catching a glimpse until Emily came down the aisle. And when she did…cue Jack, beaming uncontrollably.
Their ceremony was faith filled and celebratory. Jack and Emily shared glances every now and then, Jack adjusting his new ring, Emily flashing him a smile. Jack and Emily had chosen each other and they promised to continue to choose each other every day. And then they were pronounced husband and wife and their guests just couldn’t stop cheering! Jack gave a quick fist pump walking down the aisle because FINALLY, Emily was his wife. Back at the winery, the reception kicked off with the two of them dancing their way in and setting the tone for the fun night it was going to be. Emily’s dad opened up dinner by giving a proud toast for his daughter and a nod to how confident he was in trusting Jack as her new husband. The dance floor was wild, the food was beautiful and delicious, and the night went by all too quickly. Soon enough, they were walking through what felt like an endless tunnel of sparklers to their getaway car…finally together.
We had the best day with Jack and Emily and their family and friends. Jack and Emily are gracious and kind, fun and hilarious. If we could live every Saturday like September 7th, we certainly would! :] So much love to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fox!
