The sentence “I’m gonna date your sister one day,” is probably something that every brother in the history of the world has scoffed at or shrugged off. But Levi was dead serious when he said that to Sierra’s brother! And against the odds, he made it happen! After some joking back and forth on snapchat, Sierra agreed to a date! Levi had to postpone for his mom’s birthday dinner…but lo and behold…he wasn’t invited to his mom’s dinner! :] So off to Roanoke he went to finally get some time with Sierra! It was pretty clear to both of them from the very beginning that they had found someone special. It sounds like it wasn’t a surprise to anyone when Levi proposed on their one year anniversary! Sierra’s family has a tradition of all sharing something when they get together to celebrate birthdays, so Levi took his opportunity to pop the question!
I wish I could include a video recording with this blog post! Levi and Sierra are that fun together. They had us rolling with laughter their entire session. Levi’s storytelling cannot be beat and Sierra’s interjections just make it all the better. Clearly they ebb and flow together very well :] They’ve built a little home together in Radford with their two pups and they’re both so incredibly excited to get married later this year. Sierra accepts Levi for his hunting trips (and for being BFFs with her dad!) and Levi happily takes selfies and goes on Target runs for Sierra :] A perfect match if there ever was one!
Their engagement session was freezing (an understatement) but they both smiled and laughed through the whole thing! They’re best friends who are most at home and most themselves when they’re with each other and it’s just impossible to leave their presence feeling anything but elated. And I know that if I feel that way after a 35 degree day in Blacksburg…I’m going to be over the moon when their wedding hits in June!
