The months before their wedding were uncertain – but Jessica and Jack always kept a positive and hopeful attitude that June 20th would be their wedding day. That they’d get to celebrate with their family and friends on a summer night, just like they’d dreamed. All of that uncertain anticipation just made their day all the more exciting and joyful when it did come around. Jessica started the day proclaiming that she would not be crying – but as soon as her wedding dress was on everyone was in a puddle of emotions. All week, the forecast said there’d be thunderstorms…but on Saturday the forecast just got more and more clear! There was one 30 minute rainstorm and that was it! Just enough to get some sweet umbrella portraits 🙂
Shortly before the ceremony, Jack hid his nervous energy with wide smiles, just the type that would be sure to comfort Jessica. Her sisters teared up as she walked down the aisle with her dad and in a blink, they were married! After all this time, husband and wife! Jack and Jessica have known each other since they were kids, so this was an extra special day. The toasts from her twin sister and Jack’s best man highlighted just how special the two of them are as people – sure to be unstoppable in marriage! The evening ended with confetti hearts being thrown into the air as Jess and Jack exchanged hugs with all their favorite people and drove off into the sunset.
Y’all, it was some type of special to be at a “bigger” wedding again! I loved our small Covid weddings and elopements, but the sweetness of a full venue was not lost on us! Jess and Jack, you guys are the very best! We’re so excited for you and hope you had the best honeymoon ever!
