Jeff and Casey were supposed to be married on May 2nd, 2020. Instead of a reception, friends and family drove by their home, wishing them well and celebrating what should have been the big day! They were showered with love despite all the circumstances…and I think September 13th MORE than made up for it! Talk about a best day ever! All of their favorite friends, so much of their wonderful family, dozens upon dozens of people who’d known them for over a decade…who’d known them since they were “just best friends.” And the resounding chorus that rang all night long was – “what took you guys so long?!” It was so sweet to bear witness to a day that was about 15 years in the making – Jeff and Casey, finally married!

Casey was understandably jittery as she got in her dress, emotional as her dad melted into a puddle when he saw her for the first time as a bride, but when she saw Jeff? Beaming! Their first look was so perfectly them. Jeff got real serious and could not talk his eyes off his girl. And all the pre wedding jitters seemed to be gone for Casey as soon as he pulled her into his arms. Their ceremony was quick and to the point, sentimental as Casey’s family friend (surrogate bonus big brother :]) officiated, and LOUD as they were announced man and wife! Everyone couldn’t seem to stop cheering and smiling. And oh, what a PARTY as the night went on. In the midst of a weird year, you could tell everyone there was having the very best night of 2020!

Casey and Jeff, we’re so incredibly thankful to have been a part of your day! It was a joy and an honor! Congratulations to the Lawhornes!
