This was the day that they’d been looking forward to since January. And, of course, the forecast called for rain and lots of it. But slowly and surely, the clouds rolled back for Caleb and Jordan. Hour by hour, the rain held off. The the wedding day that Jordan had pictured in her head came to fruition – outdoor ceremony and all. Orange leaves absolutely everywhere. And Caleb waiting patiently at the end of the aisle. You see, Jordan’s a wedding planner, who had to plan her own wedding during a pandemic – and if anyone deserved a perfect day, it was her!
Jordan’s bridal suite was full to the brim with emotion. If everyone wasn’t laughing, they were crying. You can tell how loved she is by the way her friends gravitate towards her. Jordan’s everyday gorgeous transformed into bridal gorgeous and soon enough she was a vision in white. Meanwhile, Caleb counted down until ceremony time, the time passing slowly as each family member and bridesmaid walked down the aisle. And then finally, there she was. Jordan and Caleb both just seemed to relax once they were back in each other’s arms. Their ceremony was all about Jesus and how He is going to be their source – for life, for love, for joy. Their first act as man and wife was a foot washing, just like Jesus did for his disciples. There’s something so emotional about seeing a bride kneel down in her big white dress to wash her husbands feet and to see Caleb do the same!
In a flurry of flower petals, they were finally married! Years and years of long distance had all led up to this point! Both admitted to each other that they’d been too nervous to eat all day but that they’d literally never felt better. It was the cutest thing. The reception went by in a flash and soon enough they exited through a sparkler filled sky. Finally the Sniders.
Caleb and Jordan, I think you know how much we love you guys! So flattered to be the ones capturing your day! Hope your newlywed days are filled with joy and Jesus!
