Keith and Caroline knew each other in passing before they ever had a personal connection. Caroline was a couple years ahead of him at college and they shared the same college ministry. Eventually, they divinely ended up on the same vision trip to East Asia and what did Caroline do that sparked Keith’s attention? She tied his shoes for him. Who knew?! The start of a whirlwind of a relationship with a shoe tie! By grace, they both ended up serving in the same area in East Asia the following year and the rest is history.
Months later, after a pandemic and their worlds and circumstances completing shifting, Keith proposed! A Ben Rector song playing sweetly in the background as he got on one knee and asked her to marry him on a mountaintop! And it was a yes of glorious proportions! And now they’re getting married in just a few weeks! We spent their engagement session at King Family Vineyards in Charlottesville on a cold and gorgeous day. There were lots of opportunities for snuggling up and chasing the sun to stay a little warm. Keith kept Caroline wrapped up in his arms, her hair whipping around them both as the wind blew. They clearly fit better together. They both have that quiet, kind, and gracious spirit about them that makes them instantly likable and warm in presence.
Caroline and Keith, we cannot wait to capture your wedding day! Your hearts for Jesus and for each other are so beautiful and January 3rd is going to be amazing!!!
Love Caroline’s smile!
It was the most gorgeous winter day…even if it was freezing :] Worth it!
Thanks for venturing into the weeds for me guys!
One of my favorites! Their smiles are both so radiant!
The polo field at King Family Vineyards had turned the most lovely golden color! And the mountains were seriously showing off!
The light! Eek!
Warm hugs ;]
