Ty and Ellie are the most magnetic, light-filled people and it makes the most perfect sense that they found each other. But, it wasn’t always so obvious. Especially to Ellie. After some awkward beginnings at JMU, Ty and Ellie spent more time texting, spending hours taking, and…having conversations at Chipotle together! But, Ellie kept voicing that she didn’t want people to think they were dating…a bit of a let down for Ty! Even still, he kept putting himself out there. And after some advice from a friend (Ty asked, “do you think I should ask Ellie out?” And his friend replied, “I dunno if she’ll say yes, but you should definitely ask her.”), he plucked up the nerve to ask her out and Ellie gave a whole hearted yes. To which Ty exclaimed, “really?!” Just the cutest.

Not too long later, Ty came into town to visit Ellie while they were doing long distance. He told her he insisted on going on a hike with his friend while he was in town, igniting Ellie’s frustration that she wouldn’t get to spend as much time with him. Little did she know, it was a set up all along! He was preparing for the proposal! Ellie was led out into a cornfield and met with purple balloons tied to love notes and her soon to be fiancé waiting at the end of the trail. Ty got on one knee, Ellie said yes and then said “get up and kiss me!” Ya’ll they’re just the very best there is!

Oh goodness their love is sweet and it is going to be so good to celebrate them next month at Sinkland Farms! We love them, we’re obsessed with them. Their spring engagement session was the stuff dreams are made of! Hope you enjoy!
