Dan and Elana didn’t always have a straight line towards each other. There were twists and turns, but thankfully, they ended up together. Their beginnings were back in college and after dating for a few years, they broke up. But still, awhile later, they found their way back to each other. Dan was hesitant to start things up again, but still met Elana for brunch. Elana was anything but hesitant. On the lawn of the Washington monument during that fateful brunch date, Elana said excitedly, “we’re gonna get married!” And she was right!
They’ve built a beautiful friendship and partnership ever since. You can sense the deep history and joy that they share – as well as an abundance of puns and Harry Potter knowledge, of course! Dan and Elana are just so fun! Their back and forth energy is infectious to be around and it’s no wonder that the second time around, they knew their timelines would forever intertwine.
Dan planned the most perfect proposal for Elana! Not only, did he stage a fake birthday party bar crawl…for himself…as a cover story, but he kicked off the day at the Washington Monument! The very spot where they began again 🙂 After the big YES, he included stops along the way with all of their loved ones. So, so many sneaky loved ones lied to Elana to give her the best day ever!!
I can only imagine how fun their wedding is going to be! Dan and Elana had us laughing all morning and their adventurous spirits are sure to take over the dance floor on the big day! Hope you enjoy their Carvin’s Cove engagement session!
