It was a rainy day at Big Spring Farm, but even so, Sarah was beaming. Soft light streamed in through the windows of the bridal suite and girls bustled around and then Sarah was stepping into her gown. It was all happening at once! She screamed with her best friends, hugged her sweet dad, and then it was time to see Michael. And then the day was really perfect. Because they were together. They’ve survived a lot of long distance in their time together, so they’re used to reunions. And this was a sweet one! Sarah, peaceful and calm once she was with Michael. Michael, more at home with himself when he’s next to Sarah.
And then, miracle of miracles, the rain cleared! The sun shone! Michael and Sarah, the biggest earth appreciators we know, got to say their vows in front of the mountains, with all of their family and friends bearing witness to their commitment. They got to frolic in the tall grass and walk along the pond and notice the birds chirping. A gift to them on their best day ever. The reception? Well, it was what dreams are made of! Ravioli custom made to emulate Epcot’s recipe, late night grilled cheese, a busy photobooth, and a dance floor that never cleared! Michael and Sarah were just over the moon all day long!
10/10, would relive this day 100 times over! Michael and Sarah, what a joy! What a privilege! Thank you for inviting us into your incredible adventure together!

“It’s not an ice cream sandwich”
The light, these ladies, the dress, the bride…perfection!
Sweet first look with her dad!
And with her best guy :]
It was pouring during these pictures, so we opted for the porch!
The rain slowed to a drizzle and we were off to the races!
Bouquet of my dreamssss.
One of my favorites!
Bridal party time!
So handsome!
I just love them so much :]
Obsessed with this one!
It was so foggy in the morning that you couldn’t even see the mountain! Yay for sun!
Cutest little guy! He made it down the aisle in exchange for a pretzel stick!
YESS!
One of David’s and I love it so much!
They opted for a receiving line post ceremony so they could hug everyone!
For a partially rainy day, we sure got a lot of portrait time…thanks to the first look!
Love!
Encapsulates them perfectly!
Don’t get me started on sunset portraits. We had PERFECT light.
The mountains!
Is it weird if I frame this in my own house? :]
I don’t know this sweet couple, but when I tell you I cried taking this photo…what a beautiful connection!
Yay! Thanks for this, Alex!
A private last dance – highly recommend!
An excess of sparkler pictures because they ran through about 4 times and it was dreamy. So fun!!!
