It was 2020 and Thomas and Laura were getting married in just a few months. And then…well, you know the rest of the story. They postponed their big day, and instead, opted for a backyard ceremony. Laura’s uncle officiated, their family gathered, and they were married! The day was not what they planned, but still it was perfect because they ended the day as husband and wife. And so, the Supers started their life as newlyweds under the oddest possible circumstances. And still, there was beauty. They learned to live out their vows and to love each other day in and day out and they became their own family. They pushed out their big day again and again, longing to celebrate with their favorite people. To acknowledge their commitment in front of treasured friends and family.

And this June, two years after their backyard wedding, their celebration came to fruition! Laura put on her wedding dress again, Thomas donned his suit. There were flowers and friends and prayers and a first look! Thomas got to see his wife in her wedding dress! And it was just as sweet! When Laura’s uncle officiated their ceremony again, he pronounced them “already married” and there was a joyous laugh and applause! Thomas and Laura were overjoyed. They’re the kind of people that other people are drawn to. Which is what made it even more special to see them surrounded by their favorites. The Supers love their people hard and watching them finally get the chance to do so was really sweet. They spent the evening dancing, bouncing from friend to family member, soaking in their beautiful community. It was an honor to behold!
