For Quentin and Caroline, it all started at college – specifically, at a philanthropy event for Greek life. When Quentin first spotted Caroline, she had her game face on. She was competing in q-tip wrestling and her competitive nature and her seriousness about the game caught Quentin’s attention. He couldn’t help but hit her up on instagram after the event, hoping for a chance to spend more time with her. They ended up spending the summer a part, but talking every day. When they both came back to Richmond in the fall, Quentin was certain and Caroline was a little nervous about where they stood. So nervous that she totally avoided him at the bar one night! Quentin was quick to call her out and the rest is history! They’ve been together ever since!
It wasn’t too long before Quentin was enlisting the help of Caroline’s family to make a proposal happen on the very bridge where we met for their engagement session. The special location made their engagement session even more fun! We dodged pedestrians and bikers and chatted all about their love story. I got to see firsthand how fun they are together – their back and forth dynamic, the way that Quentin knows exactly how to make Caroline laugh, the way she glows and he reflects it right back. What a gift it was to spend the evening with them.
I cannot wait for their October wedding at the lake! It’s a special place to Caroline’s family so they’re bringing everyone at to their favorite place to celebrate! It’s going to be amazing! Hope you enjoy their Richmond engagement session.
Can’t get over Caroline’s beautiful smile!
Love this one!
Y’all know I love the chance to get to be a city photographer!
We had the most gorgeous summer light!
The best! Would you believe there’s like 50 people on the bridge behind them?
Next location – The Rocks at Hollywood Rapids. Just the most stunning spot!
Literally obsessed with their outfits!
They’re so adventurous! I was shouting directions from a different part of the rapids while dozens of people were playing around us!
Gracious!
Love their joy!
Best ever!
