Barrett and Paige decided on an intimate wedding with immediate family and close friends. They scrapped the big wedding, made their siblings their bridal party, and planned a whole weekend of fun. Mountain Lake Lodge was the perfect setting for their day. They spent days on top of the mountain with the people that mean the very most to them and they got to throw in a wedding along the way 😉
Rain clouds descended on the mountain as the day started out. Paige stepped into her dress with her mother and her sisters and Barrett got ready with his best man. As we drove to the first look, finally ready and very much ready to see her groom, the sky fell out. It started to rain hard. But even still, nothing could move Paige. The same was true for Barrett. When I asked if he minded being in the rain he just said “Paige and I agreed that whatever happens, the most important part is that we’re getting married.” And that informed their joy all day. No matter rain or shine they were just thrilled to be married and to be with their favorite people. Miraculously, the sun came out for their mountain top ceremony! Paige’s father performed the ceremony and their nephews skipped and hopped down the aisle and charmed everyone. When they walked back up the aisle, hands tied together after their hand fasting ritual, they both beamed!
What a joyful day and what a PARTY! It was even more special because of the smaller number of guests. Paige and Barrett could visit with everyone at length, they could dance with everyone present, and when they walked off into the sparkler filled night, it was only the beginning of an amazing weekend together! It was a true privilege to be part of the family for the day. We loved celebrating with Paige and Barrett and wish we could do it all over again! Congratulations you two!

Loved Paige’s ring box. What a fun addition!
The most fun champagne pop!
Loved spending so much time with Paige and her momma and her three sisters. What a fun group!
Love this. Ready to see her groom!
And that’s when it started to pour! Sooo the umbrellas went up!
They ditched the umbrellas pretty quickly so they could hold each other :]
Thank goodness for the front of Mountain Lake Lodge! Everywhere else was rainy and full of puddles, but we found the cutest portrait spot here!
Love that you can see the rain in a lot of their portraits. It’s one of the many things that made their wedding day perfectly theirs.
One of my faves of David’s!
So gorgeous Paige!
Off to the mountain top for the ceremony!
Annnnd the rain cleared up just in time for the ceremony! What a gift!
Some sweet aisle moments with all the little people!
How special to watch Paige’s father watching his wife and his daughter come down the aisle.
MARRIED!
Such an intimate wedding so we had lots of time for photos with best friends!
Yay! What a fun and special bridal party!
The cutest sisters.
Has there ever been a prettier late summer color palette?!
And more portraits! This time with the sun out!
One of my favorites!
So much cuteness from the nephews during toasts!
Once the dance party started, it did not stop for a second! Paige’s family opened up the dance floor and it was so fun!
Recognize these two? Matt and Caroline were a 2021 KPP couple :] Loved seeing them!
When at Mountain Lake Lodge and when “I’ve had the time of my life” is playing…you go for the lift!
Ending with a private dance!
Off into the night to afterparty and to spend all weekend with their favorite people!
