It was a gorgeous Virginia day at Belle Garden Estate. It was the day that Jack and Lexi were getting married! And goodness, were their people excited! Their bridal party started the day with worship and singing and energy for days. Jack and Lexi exchanged meaningful words and meaningful gifts – making promises to each other in private before repeating vows in public. Lexi had a moment with her mother and father after her dress was on, noting that she was wearing her mother’s veil and jacks mother’s wedding rings as earrings.
They both cried as Lexi processed down the aisle. The thing Jack and Lexi wanted their guests to takeaway the most from their ceremony, was the love of Jesus Christ. Their ceremony was gospel focused and tear filled, genuine and heartfelt. I am 100% serious when I say I’ve never seen wedding joy like this. Jack and Lexi practically flew back down the aisle after they were pronounced husband and wife. Jumping, skipping, screaming with lots of gasps because they just could believe it was real!
Now this day was emotional for more than one reason. Not only were they starting a new chapter, but they were also moving across the country following their honeymoon. This would be the last day they’d see most of their friends and family for quite some time. So they had to make it count. And boy, did they! The dance floor stayed packed. The drinks kept flowing. The frolicking around the property kept happening! By the time they walked through their sparklers to the getaway car, everyone was full to the brim with joy and fun. A perfect ending, to a perfect day.
