Hello friends! I’m so sorry this blog is late! My hard drive is still having some trouble so I’m running a bit behind! I’m so excited to share recent adventures with all of you! I’ve got some of my gorgeous freshman girls, our christmas family marathon, and lots of other stuff coming your way very soon! I’m also going to be blogging three days a week starting next week :] Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are going to be my days…so keep me accountable internet! I’m also starting a project this afternoon that will be some big and exciting changes for David and I; I’ll let you know when I know what all of the details are. But I’ll stop my rambling (just get excited for some new stuff) and introduce you to two of my lovely friends.
Meet James and Emily, two of my favorite people from college. I’ve known them pretty much since my freshman year…and I love that I was semi instrumental in them beginning to date. James and I’s favorite story to tell about how we know each other is that we were at the same birthday party in high school…but didn’t know each other yet. When I found this out (oh you know, because I’m a facebook stalker) I cornered him in our on campus Au Bon Pan to ask how he knew my friend from high school. Of course, James got all anxious because he thought I was coming to interrogate him about his crush on my friend Emily! And from there unfolded one of the funniest/cutest love stories that just recently progressed into a beautiful marriage. They got married last year two days after christmas on a Tuesday (it was crazy in the best way!) and just celebrated their first anniversary!
David and I both had opportunities in college to live with James and Emily, play games with them, go on retreats with them, double date, and talk late into the night with them. They are really awesome people that we are blessed to know, and it was so much fun doing a shoot with them for their christmas cards! Hope you love them just as much as I do :]
We were lucky enough to find/trespass on a tree farm where James and Emily got to decorate a tree together :]
This is the newest addition to the Eagle family, Jazmin the Chiweenie!
So cute! :]
Don’t ya love my homemade wreath?
Jazmin is so adorable that I actually walked around with her on campus the first week of school to draw people in to take surveys…she works like a charm.
love this!
AH! how cool is this place!

And at about this point the owner of the farm was driving up the road and for some reason…we ran… I don’t know if it was the impending rain or the fear of trespassing…but we got out of there real fast. Love you Emily and James and we had so much fun taking your pictures!
