Happy Monday! As usual the beginning of the week has come too quickly! For us, it also means the beginning of another semester. This long break from campus was fabulous, but I’m super excited to get back in a normal routine and see all of my girls again! Also, I think I’m getting in the groove of this consistent blogging thing…next step: get posts up before 5pm :]
Meet my friend Nicki. Nicki and I’s friendship goes back to the way awkward age of 11, I specifically remember meeting her in the library one day when she used to have hair down to her waist! Nicki and I have both changed a TON (for the better I’m sure :D) over the years that we’ve known each other, but one thing about her has always remained the same…she is a dancer. So much so that even when she left for college, with no plans of going after dancing long term, her heart led her back her art form. This led her to transfer to Radford a couple years ago, meaning we actually got to spend time together! We were mentored together for a semester our Junior year and it’s such a blessing to be able to see her around campus. One of the many things that has made Radford home is seeing so many familiar faces around, faces I’ve grown up knowing; Nicki is definitely one of those!
Nicki is insanely talented and is going to go very far. I wouldn’t be surprised to be buying tickets to see her on Broadway one day :]
We started in the studio on a cold December afternoon to get some headshots before Christmas.
How on EARTH does she accomplish this pose??
Then we headed down main street where we braved the cold.
love!
She has such a great laugh!
favorite!
Thanks for allowing me to spend the afternoon with you Nicki, I hope you’ve regained feeling in your limbs at this point! ;] I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend and the frigid weather isn’t having the same affect on you as it is me! (I’ve barely seen the light of day in the past week…)
Also…being a dancer is hard!
Clearly, we had a fun day :]
