Meet my friend Emily! She’s as bright and talented as she is beautiful. I’ve never met anyone with her fierce will to succeed and follow through. She has continued to strive for excellence in areas and circumstances that others would just give up. You really don’t run into people with this girl’s spirit often, but when you do, it wows you.
I met Emily when she was only a sophomore at Radford with big dreams and ambitions. I’m super excited to say that she’s been able to accomplish them all. Like I said, so many wrenches have been thrown in her plans, both educational and just in general, but she’s powered through it all.
We met up about a month ago, only a week before she left to go serve in Africa for a month and I was so excited when she started sharing what life post grad was going to look like for her! She’s going to be teaching kids with disabilities and teaching dance! Since I’ve known her that’s always been her end goal and its astounding to see that she made it happen! I love this girl and I’m so excited to see what she’ll do with the talents and brains that God has given her!
Despite the what-felt-like 100 degree heat, she stuck it out and managed to look beautiful on a muggy afternoon in May!
Emily has a freakin awesome laugh, so you’ll be seeing a lot of it :]
Oh hey, beautiful! Love this :]
Love you Em! Welcome back from Africa!
