Hello blog friends! So as you may have noticed…there have been some changes over here lately! Aka I’ve got a new blog! Wahoo! Same URL and everything, but it was time for an upgrade! I’m really really excited about the yellow and the handwriting and pretty much everything about it. One of my favorite things is that it is a lot easier to get in touch with me! Click the “let’s chat” at the top if you have questions or just want to say hi! And the social media icons at the end of each blog post link you directly to me so you can see what I’m up to outside the blog :] It is going to be in a bit of a constant state of change for a bit as I work on getting everything up to date, so be patient with me through the change if you can.

There’s a lot of new beginnings this morning for me! 1. the blog. 2. we started Cru Staff today and are getting prepared for all of the students to come back. and 3. The maternity session I’m sharing on the blog this morning. My good friends Mark & Maddy are about to go through a huge new beginning! Their little baby Ezra is due to arrive in two weeks! Eek! Last month we spent a couple days at the beach with Mark and Maddy and it hit us that it would be the last time the four of us would hang out without Ezra! Surreal! So anyways if that beach vacation was any type of end to a chapter then it was a great one! We ran around Virginia Beach, which I’ll be sure to post on here, and even got the opportunity to do both a sunset and sunrise shoot for Maddy and their new little family. Seriously getting the chance to shoot back to back golden hours within 12 hours was a dream! And the light was so different and dynamic, I loved it.

Fun fact: Mark borrowed two of David’s clothing items because in his words, all he brought was “stupid shirts.” See if you can guess what belongs to David :]
