Hello Tuesday evening friends! I am so thrilled to be sharing this session with you today! But, first….it is absolutely PERFECT weather here in Radford today! Seriously, I got to wear a sweater and shorts. That is my idea of perfect weather. I love the crisp chill of walking on Radford’s campus and although getting locked out of my house and car today was not an ideal start to the morning, sitting on my porch at the beginning of Fall was not unwelcome.

Okay so, now to the photo magic. Kristin is an old friend of David’s from high school and I was so excited when she emailed me awhile back! Her and Brandon, her husband are expecting a little baby boy…like REALLY soon! I was so thankful to spend the evening walking around Blacksburg and hearing about where their life is headed and where God is leading them. Also, they were really fun to be around and just so sweet to each other. Seriously, Kristin’s eyes light up when she looks at her soon to be baby’s father. It’s amazing and an absolute blast to capture on my camera.

Inside scoop of our shoot: it was actually scheduled a week earlier, but I legitimately brought a storm with me from Radford. It was pouring like crazy where I was with no sign of rain in Blacksburg where Kristin and Brandon were….and thennnnn I started driving over there, and the storm followed me the ENTIRE way! Wow. Seriously? What luck.

Kristin, I’m so glad we got to make this happen! Especially after the torrential downpour the first time! Thank you for letting me capture this special time in your lives.
