I love weddings because it is not the starting point for your life like so many people imagine, and it is not the ending point, like so many others say; it’s just another beautiful chapter in your story. I love when couples take time to celebrate their love, knowing that the celebrations don’t end when they say I do. Every morning is something to be celebrated because real love is tough. It isn’t like the fairytales, but it can be beautiful if you let it be. The rest of your life is not at all like your wedding day, the glamor disappears…but thousands of little moments and celebrations take the place of the sparkly “I do’s.”
Meet Kyle and Sara Beth. Two best friends getting to share life together through marriage. Kyle and Sara Beth have been married for a year now and it was such a blessing to be able to shoot their anniversary portraits! Not only because they are fabulous newlyweds, but because they also work for Cru! It was so fun to be able to hang out with a couple who understands the balance of life and ministry and share our experiences of being newly married in the midst of all of it. I love that they wanted to celebrate this milestone with me and feel so blessed to have gotten the chance to capture their bright love.
Kyle and Sara Beth, I am SO glad we got to spend this time with you! You two laugh a little louder and smile a little wider in each others arms, and that is remarkable to witness.
Loooove this.
