“I think we’re going to get married one day.”

A secret passed between friends that spanned years. A promise that was kept through growing together and falling in love. A promise that was sealed under the warm sun a year ago now. Justin and Sydney have one of those epic love stories. They both knew that the other was the one for them, before it even made sense to the rest of the world, they knew their quiet love would be a kind that survives. And it has.

Sydney emailed me awhile back about an anniversary session and after months of emailing back and forth I was kinda getting anxious to meet her. And meet we did. At 7am on a frigid Radford morning we all exchanged hugs and smiles despite the weather. Seriously, these two. Although we all frozeeee and had to take breaks so that our limbs would warm up, we left with warm hearts. Justin and Sydney are such warm people, they’re welcoming and their love story pulls you in and romances you. I am SO thankful I got the chance to meet them and am so excited to be sharing their portraits today.
