Well, I think I’m sitting on campus for the last time this school year. As usual, it’s bittersweet. I’m excited for summer. But sad to leave the students. I know they’ll come back having learned so much about themselves and about God. But it’ll be sad to not see them around. On the other hand, Radford is like a ghost town during the summer. So it is refreshing to go through town and have it just be empty. Wow, I’m such a contradiction. :]
Anyways, our last Cru of the year was last night. We sent off seniors and two of our staff men and celebrated all that God has done this year. It’s been a whirlwind. Most importantly, we sent everyone out for the summer challenging them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author of their story. I’ve mentioned before that I do all of the media/videos for Cru, and I love it. I love getting to capture what the students are passionate about and what they believe. I love getting to see them be vulnerable. So this is it. This is their story. And my story. And our story.
