It’s official! The school year is over. What is happening??? Life is moving so fast. I’ve got my only sibling graduating college this weekend. We’re moving to a new home this summer. First real, big, real time wedding season is coming up. David’s going to grad school this fall. And oh wow, did I mention we’re moving to a new home? AH! It is official. In the span of a week we got to make a lot of real life, adult decisions. But it is official. We’re moving about a 10 minute walk away from where we live now into a slightly bigger home. We have used our little house so well and although I’m sad to leave, I’m excited to use this one even better. And yes! David is headed to grad school for English at Radford in the fall. Oh my goodness. Life is gonna be different. We’re excited, but once again, transition! Right now, we work together almost all of the time! It’s going to be crazy but we’re excited for all that God is leading us towards.

(Did anyone notice how often I used “it’s official” in the last paragraph? Slow down, Kaitlyn.)

Anyways, this weekend and week were full of wonderful things. A beautiful anniversary session, saying goodbye to the senior class, the last Cru of the semester and the last small group of the semester. I’m saying many temporary goodbyes and see you laters and have a good summers and I just can’t believe it went so fast. Two years in ministry and almost two years of marriage have come and gone. I can’t wait to whatever this new chapter holds.

Feels:

• Neville got a haircut. Sad face, friends. He looks like a completely different dog. For real. Most of my friends didn’t recognize him/thought we got a new dog/or said “that’s not Neville, is it?” Ugh. He looks like a poodle and I miss his little moppy face. Bright side: you can see his eyes. And he can see where he’s going.
• I did not think I was emotional about this whole graduation people moving away thing…but dang, as we were toasting the seniors in Cru last night I started to choke up. Even now as I’m writing. What’s wrong with me??? I’m just so proud of how much they’ve all grown :]
• Goal for the summer is EXPLORING NRV! On Friday evening, we went to beautiful Blacksburg with Shawn and Katie and they took us to a little hidden meadow that I am now in love with. How am I living here and missing all of these little gems?!
• Sandra Oh is leaving Grey’s soon and I’m sad. How will I go on without my Cristina Yang? :/
