I love summer. Because summer means waking up a little later and working with frequent breaks to play Ticket to Ride with your husband. It means staying up too late watching Doctor Who and traveling a ton. It means you can drive almost 12 hours total just to go to a baby shower and celebrate with old friends. So because you can, that’s what you do.

Friends, meet Daniel and Christy…I love these two a ton. Now technically, they’ve been David’s friends since he was like 5 years old! David and Daniel have been in school together since kindergarden! They go way back, just like Daniel and Christy do. Whenever Christy talks about Daniel she just laughs and says they’ve been together their entire lives. An epic love story of high school sweethearts spanning farther back than even that.

So of course, it was a little intimidating entering into all that when David and I first started dating. But, Daniel and Christy are people that you can’t help but love. Christy has the most bubbly and fun personality. She’s always bringing you in and caring about you individually. I got to learn this even more last summer when we took a long road trip together from Ohio to home. And Daniel is so, so funny. He and David have this odd inflection in their voices in the way that they talk that is hilarious when they’re together. But, usually I’m one of the only people laughing because everyone else is just used to it :]

Daniel and Christy fit perfectly together and I cannot await for the arrival of their little Jude Aaron. Long prayed for and arriving any time now. Hope you enjoy their maternity pictures celebrating this beautiful time of life.
