I can’t even express how excited I am to finally be sharing Meghan’s bridal portraits with you! We shot these on the very first day of September, and the wait has been excruciating! Adam and Meghan got married this past Saturday and it was a beautiful day all around! It wasn’t until I walked into the reception and saw Meghan’s beautiful bridals printed and placed around the venue that I realized YES, it was FINALLY okay to share these with you.

I love bridal sessions for so many reasons. And I’m kinda kicking myself for not doing one as a bride. Getting all done up in hair and makeup and putting on your gown is a sure fire way to make you feel like a BRIDE! I love seeing that realization on the bride’s face, that “ohmygosh YES I’m getting married” face. It’s a wonderful break in all of the planning and details to soak it in, and focus on what is actually important: you and your future husband.

Meghan is a dear friend from college and I’m treasuring that I got to be there for this time in her life. I know it’s hard to believe with the chilly Fall weather, but dang it was hot when we went out to Claytor Lake to capture these images. But thankfully, Meghan’s a trooper and managed to look effortlessly beautiful traipsing around the park.
