Roommates are one of the sweetest parts of college. Living with a bunch of other women is something that only happens for a certain season of life and it is a precious time! Whenever I look back on my time as a student at Radford, I always, always wish I had used my time living with other women better! What a cool opportunity to love each and share life together. To sometimes be angry at each other, but learn to forgive and encourage as well.

The ladies of Riverside are doing just that. For the first time in a couple years, we’ve got a ton of students in our ministry living together and inviting other people into that. It’s exciting and I always smile big thinking of the sweet conversations and challenges that their little homes hold. So, of course, spending time with some of our women was a blast.

I can’t say that I’ve ever done a roommate shoot before, but it was fun! I hope this is something that these beautiful women can look back years from now and smile, knowing that God used this time in their life for a purpose. Sure, it’s hard to live in community. People are messy. We’re all broken and hurting. And that’s why it is so beautiful when people CHOOSE to share their lives.
