Another something different on the blog today :] April and Neeley contacted me a couple months ago, so this family shoot was on the calendar for awhile! When it finally came it was the most beautiful Fall day with just a little bit of chill in the air. I had my usual pre-shoot nerves as I drove to Blacksburg to meet this sweet family and then as soon as I got out of the car there was nothing to be nervous about 😀

Neeley and April and their families are the sweetest. They’re warm and friendly and laugh a lot together. Their kids are equal parts cute and hilarious. They’ve got big personalities and it was so fun to focus on the love between the separate family units and then all of the cousins together. Kids are just plain awesome. We had a blast running around Heritage Park and it was crazy just trying to keep up with them!
