After the workshop I attended on Monday, I am itching to get back to shooting weddings! I just love the summer wedding season and learning new tips and tricks make me want to try them all out! But one of the upsides of it not being wedding season, is the time I have to take on other shoots that I’d normally have to say no to. I love looking for opportunities to use photography outside of my “norm” and thankfully, Valley Bible Church gave me a chance to do so :]
Some of my friends are involved/interns with the Bonhoeffer House at Valley Bible Church here in Radford. The purpose is focused around intentional community and growing young ministers of the Gospel to be church planters, pastors, counselors, etc. The ministry is still at it’s beginning stages, but I’m seeing how it is changing my friends’ lives through intentional development and “life together.” The vision goes so much further than where it is at today, and I bet there will be a time where the little house they meet in now will be a fond and distant memory. :] Either way, it was so fun to spend an afternoon capturing where life happens and growth happens for these sweet people.
Enjoy!
I love this piece of stained glass. Jesse found it at the ever amazing Black Dog Salvage.
