Happy Friday, friends! Today I’ve got a little personal post. Sometimes I totally neglect sharing personal images on the blog, and I promised you guys that I’d get better at it, so here I am sharing some Easter pictures :]
I’m not totally positive when this tradition started, but I think those are the best kind of traditions! Every Easter I bring my camera to the church and we take pictures in front of “the wall” after the service lets out. It just happens, for probably four or five years now. Radford doesn’t have a ton of charm, but we do have some pretty cute spots and this is one of the most popular. Before I started exploring Radford and finding some not so widely known favorite spots, this is where I went for pretty much every practice portrait session. When in doubt…go to the wall. My mom started referring to it as the place that we always took pictures.
I don’t shoot there as often now, but it is the perfect place to stop by and grab a few quick portraits. So in true Easter tradition, that’s just what we did! It’s kind of an unspoken thing, but I always end up taking pictures of anyone who stops by. SO fun :]
I love Easter because it’s this beautiful opportunity to make much of Jesus and to celebrate with friends. It’s always such a restful day, knowing that we’re loved endlessly by the God of the universe. I just love that.
Love these ladies.
And these two :]
And these hilarious roommates.
And there’s always awkward bystanders…aka Jesse. Aka our friend and pastor who married us.
And my Dad insisted we take pictures by these random trees.
This girl! What a joy 😀
And something awkward and perfect like this always happens as well.
My dad insisted on dotting the “i”
Poor Jobin has a lot to put up with.
And we finished up Easter with a barbecue at our friends’ house. Loved it. This is Ivy Kate yelling at a cat.
And Jude riding a bike hilariously and it barely moving.
Okay is it just me or does Caroline look like Cara Delevinge?
The Fureys have a giant swing in their front yard and the kids love it! I think it’s awesome to see my reaction of terror when they swing so high and the parents all shrug. I guess you adapt as a parent of three or four :]
After Ivy threw these rocks at me we went on a little adventure.
And by adventure I mean she ran away from me and I tried really hard to catch her.
My pretty friend and my tiny cupcake.
Hope you have a restful and BBQ filled weekend :]
