Billy and Hillary have that classic love story; a mutual friend who just happened to be their pastor thought they’d be perfect for each other. They, of course, didn’t think much of it, but as soon as they got to meet, the sparks started to fly. They both were just looking for someone who would love Jesus first, and both of them saw that in each other. Billy and Hillary spent almost a year falling in love on the baseball field, strolling through Harrisonburg, spending time together through church, and it was obvious that they couldn’t spend any more time a part. So 11 months in, Billy dropped to one knee and asked Hillary to be his forever, to which she excitedly had to say yes!

It’s been one year of marriage now, full of afternoon naps and learning more about each other than they ever thought possible. And this seemed like the way to celebrate. Unfortunately, they weren’t left with a ton of portraits from their wedding day, so it just made sense to don their wedding attire and spend an evening at their wedding venue. Reliving the magic and spending time focusing on each other. Add the fact that we spent time at the baseball field where Hillary watched Billy play throughout college and it was perfect.
