Another few months go by and another Abby Grace workshop has passed :] If you’ve been around you KNOW that I love Abby and what a valuable friend and asset she’s been to my business since the very beginning. As my little business has grown, she’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders and I feel so encouraged by the way she takes time to check in with me and answer all my crazy questions.

So obviously, I love every chance I get to serve her and be a part of what she’s doing in the wedding industry. This was my THIRD time assisting at A Practical Wedding Workshop…and it never gets old, seriously! I love getting to be behind the scenes stuffing caramels into goodie bags, making tea and coffee, and helping coordinate with vendors. It’s a dream just to be included. Not to mention all of the tips and tricks I’m STILL picking up from Abby. She’s so generous with what she’s learned and it’s exciting to see all of the attendees come away inspired and more confident than they came in at the beginning of the day. Also, everything’s always really pretty…so that’s a plus 😉

All that being said, this edition of the workshop was SO fun. It was such a great group of photographers and the whole day had a really homey and welcoming feel to it. That’s another reason I love Abby and Matt, they are always welcoming people in and the workshop has just that atmosphere. If nothing else, I’m glad to be there to hang out with my dear friend for the day and to laugh a little too hard at her jokes.

This is dorky..but I always love hearing how Abby organizes all of her gear. She’s got systems on systems and she’s better for it. I’m always stealing her little organizational hacks.
