It started over coffee. Well more specifically it started at a not so coincidental, but totally divine meeting of playing worship at the same church. Hayley immediately noticed Jason, but wrote him off and figured he was dating or married. And then Jason messaged Hayley after practice. And they set a date to play at the same church again. But for all intensive purposes, it really started over coffee. Like most great things. Hayley says that the time flew by, Jason says he just remembers having so much fun. The clock ticked on and before they knew it, Mill Mountain was closing up for the evening. But they both knew that night was the beginning of something great.
Jason asked her out with a series of puns. Hayley responded YES. And when it came time to ask for her forever, he took her back to where it all started…kind of. He brought her to the real Mill Mountain, up to the Roanoke star and dropped to one knee. And that’s when Hayley responded with an even more joyful and even more enthusiastic YES.
Jason and Hayley exude joy and life. It pours out of them. They’re the kind of people that you meet and immediately feel welcomed by. They laugh loud together, they goof off together, and they bring you in on their ongoing fun. And their love for Jesus is clearly the source of that. It makes perfect sense that they’re together. You’ll see what I mean when you scroll through their images :]
Here’s to the future Paljugs! Hope you enjoy their session as much as we enjoyed spending an evening with them!
