Michael and Nicolette have quite the story. They’ve spent so much time a part from each other, bearing through deployment after deployment, multiple moves, and so much more. And now, probably for the first time in their relationship, they’re together with certainty for a season. And just in time for a sweet baby girl to enter the picture! When you spend time around them, you can just tell they’re basking in their togetherness, because they’ve never gotten to before! This season of life has meant a new home, a new community, and a new family member :] And I know they just can’t wait to meet baby girl by the end of this month!
Sometime this past summer, Nicolette’s name popped up on my phone. I looked at David and said “She’s either pregnant or she’s moving back to Radford!” It turns out, it was both :] What perfect timing! Nicolette had such an impact on me in college, and seeing her live out the life that the Lord has planned for her is so wonderful. Even better now that it’s not from such a distance! I’ve gotten to document so many phases of her life with Michael! Their backyard elopement, year one of marriage, and now this, the biggest adventure yet! It’s sweet to be discovering motherhood around the same time as each other. And I can’t wait to snuggle that little girl. With parents like hers, she’s sure to be loving, tender, and bold.
