It’s hard to believe we’ve wrapped up another wedding season! We’ve been through three jam packed seasons at this point and we just love it more and more as time goes on. We genuinely have so much fun on wedding days. Yes, because we get to work together, but really because we’re working with such wonderful people. From joyful bridal parties to sweet parents of the bride and groom to the lovely couple themselves…it’s just such a privilege.
We’re at the point now where we’re getting to shoot weddings of past bridal party members and past wedding guests! So sometimes going to a wedding is like a little reunion for us :] But other than that, most people don’t get to see what life looks like for us on a wedding day. This is one of my favorite posts to put together for this very reason :] We just have fun. Whether it’s ugly crying through toasts (me) or singing all the words to Uptown Funk (david) we just really love that this is our job.
So here’s to all the bag carrying, bouquet holding, boutonniere pinning, flyaway catching, and of course, photographing that makes us the luckiest people in the world.
Casually dodging my way out of a dance circle. Guys, sometimes I genuinely get so happy seeing people dancing that I tear up. Seriously, I’m weird.
David doing what he does best: carrying all the bags and accidental photobombing 😉
Michael’s been a groomsmen in at least 3 of our weddings over the years. And there’s me accidentally photobombing David’s shot of him.
Things David does on the regular: guide grooms who aren’t allowed to see their brides yet and blend in with the crowd.
Using my directional skills on the brides like woah.
If there’s one thing that strikes fear into the heart of photogs: sparklers on narrow pathways.
Hurricane wedding :]
That time our whole Cru staff team was at a wedding :]
Accidental photobombing. Always.
Testing light on each other is always so flattering.
That time I’d known the bride since elementary school…and we exchanged a lot of these looks all day. Even though you can only see half my face I think you can sense the excitement.
I swear I’m more fun than this picture says I am.
Pretty sure I was happy crying into my camera in the background of this one. Jonathan and Jaelyn are precious!
Sometimes I get stuck in the middle of dance circles :]
The most epic first look location!
One of David’s many marketable skills – men’s fashion.
Friends turned brides in all three of these images. And especially special? That one in the middle. 2015 bride holding on to a bouquet for a 2016 bride.
All the joy. And Hayley’s smolder.
The girls photobombed the guys and it was amazing.
When my sister and her boyfriend are wedding guests.
Just really the most glamorous on the right there. Knotting up my skirt in the August heat and wearing an ace bandage.
Veil floating can be much harder under a giant umbrella 😉
These two. Affirming my funniness with their constant laughter.
Hair bows galore.
Another day, another sparkler exit.
Love this guy.
And some iphone peeks. Wedding day selfies.
The cutest bride and her snapchat filters.
Times it looked like I had white tights on. #palegirlproblems
We’ll never say no to driving around in a golf cart 😉
Thankful for another great wedding season. And for the fact that I get to work with my best friend.
