I know I told you all I wasn’t a senior photographer…but these awesome seniors keep asking for photos and my no muscle has grown weak :] But seriously, I’ve met all of these women their freshman year of college and it’s crazy how fast time moved on us. All of the sudden, they’re graduating and headed off to start adulting! Time is the weirdest and most beautiful gift. So needless to say, it was hard to say no when they asked if they could do a roommate senior session. It was like getting to do more casual bridesmaid portraits…with balloons 😉
These women have done real life together these last four years. They’ve decided to be friends and decided to keep living together over and over again. There’s a special bond in female friendships and even more so when you share the same space. Late nights and giggle fits and growing into more of who they’re supposed to be. All done side by side. I can’t imagine how they all must feel to be separating so soon, but it’s so fun that they’ll have these images to remember their time together by!
We had an absolute blast during their session! Every time I had a girl on her own, the others would be dancing in the background to make her laugh. We made such a scene on campus with our laughter and GIANT gold balloons! These women are so, so gorgeous with the best hearts and it was a joy to spend the evening with them.
