Once upon a time, we used to take Ollie to ALL of our sessions! He was a little guy, so David would just baby wear him and he’d snooze the whole session. Those days are long gone! He’s into everything and always on a mission. But every once in a while, he gets to relive his glory days and come with us to an engagement session :] Typically when we already know the bride and groom from college and it’s a session that’s nice and close to home. He’ll camp out in the stroller or explore with David while I shoot.
Yesterday I took a little poll on instagram to see if anyone would want to see another behind the scenes post…but with Ollie in it! And the response was overwhelmingly yes! Haha! I don’t know why I’m surprised that over 100 people wanted to see this…but hey, give the people what they want right?! And that seems to be more of Ollie :] When I gathered all the behind the scenes images of us from weddings, I flagged a bunch of Ollie photobombs just in case they’d be useful! Turns out, they were :] Here’s a peek at our little guy trying to steal to show!
PS: This also goes out to all of the SWEET people who say they can’t wait to see Ollie at their wedding! Trust us, you don’t want Ollie at your wedding if we’re shooting it :] He’s a FULL time job! The very rare times he comes to sessions with us, he occupies 95% of David’s time and attention! He’d be cute on the dance floor, but too much of a handful every other time :]
Look how little he is! AND how cold! It was freezing out, but Ollie was a bundled up little trooper :] I think this was about the time we realized we had to start getting sitters for esessions :]
Just hanging while our couple does an outfit change!
Love this! Emily wanted to love on him and he happily accepted.
David being a super dad and toting Ollie/feeding him/strollering him is one of his most impressive qualities.
And then I made them move out of my shot :]
We did a short family session for our dear friends who were announcing their pregnancy and Ollie got to dominate the camera a little more than normal!
Dad life.
I can’t believe how little and chunky he was!
Just doing some exploring. I think they were taking turns throwing rocks in the water :]
Hahahhh. So much confidence. He looks like 4 years older than he was here.
Adam and Lexi’s was my favorite. Ollie was reveling in the leaves and could not help butting in! (and also neither could David)
Sometimes I make David throw leaves.
Just look real hard for this one.
I can’t. I was dying laughing when I saw this one.
Trying to steal the ring with his little chubby fingers!
When the esession is mini and for your sister, Ollie will definitely be there.
In fact, he’ll be required by your sister.
My face in this, plus the way I’m squishing his cheek is how I feel all the time.
He was super serious this day. Climbing the mountain with his goldfish and wad-dow like a boss.
That’s a wrap!
