Brian and Casey are so wonderful together. Married just a year and a half ago, and now, almost parents! They’re some of the kindest people you’ll meet. So much joy and so much intentionality between the two of them. They’re a perfect fit! And the fact that they’re going to be raising a little baby soon? Just incredible. I can just see Casey cuddling her little guy and just delighting in the miracle of him. And I can see Brian taking care of them both, the proudest dad ever. While they’re two sweet golden retrievers hover near by, excited big brothers :] It’s going to be such a little miracle! Brian and Casey are treasuring their last several weeks before their lives get crazy. Because after all, it did start with just the two of them! Their session was perfectly joyful and fun with a touch of romance, just like them.

You might recognize these two :] What a complete joy to be involved in the special seasons of our clients, and now friends, lives! Last time we saw them we were both chatting about buying houses over dinner. Ollie was causing a scene and naturally, we started talking about kids! We had always known these two would thrive as parents and that they wanted a big family! And almost a year later, here they are! They bought a house AND are about to have their first little boy. So, so exciting. And selfishly, we love that a big life event that needed photographing came along so we could have another excuse to put them on our calendars :] We finished up their session by grabbing ice cream together and it just made us so happy that this job brings friends into our lives!

We had a last minute call for rain that changed our game plan, but I’m so glad it did! We ended up in a spot that Brian knew of in Clifton and it was perfect! We had a little drizzle on and off, but it produced the softest, most glorious light. And somehow still managed to find a field with tall grass, just like Casey had imagined!
